Fake State Health Plans Robbing People Nationwide

Recent news and polling have proven that millions of Americans are unsure of how the new healthcare bill will impact their
medical coverage. And, it's also true that millions of uninsured Americans are hoping to find affordable health plans some time soon.
Sadly, this combination of misinformation and desperation has led many unsuspecting Americans to fall prey to medical coverage scams proliferating in every state.
Louisiana's DailyComet.com has recently addressed the growing problem of
health insurance scams: "scammers who claim to be peddling medical discount plans" are targeting the underinsured, uninsured, or unemployed. They're promising affordable health plans that are supposedly active in every state.
However, this isn't true, and hundreds of Americans are finding that they don't have insurance at all when they try to cash in on their coverage.
In many cases, even when they try to cancel this false medical coverage money is continually removed from their accounts.
Tips for preventing scams and finding a real health plan include the following:
If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Don't give any personal information over the phone or to someone who claims they've got an unbelievably great deal for you.
